New Renault Alpine
Be still my beating heart.
Everything I've seen says no proper manual gearbox. USA availability seems doubtful. Really curious if they'll make it here, not sure how I can rationalize the purchase.

I considered that after I read the info on it. As much as I would love a "proper sports car" I'm not sure I'd care but I'd have to drive one to find out. 300hp, 2400 lbs, and tons of grip would likely take my attention away from the DSG.
55-60k euros and only in Europe and Japan so far, but the website for it says they're looking into expanding into other markets.
I would hope they sell it here since the cayman and 4c are both here.
If I could have one new car sold anywhere in the world this would be it. DSG be damned, it's gorgeous.

There can be no other color.
God the designers nailed a modern take of the A110 so well it hurts.

More of a French Cayman/4C than anything else. It's a reimagining of the iconic Renault-Alpine A110 of the late 1960's/early 1970's.
I know blue is the "right" color but the old A110s looked fantastic in a medium green, and I bet this would as well.

Amen to that.

If Nissan has anything to do with it, it'll show up here on a maxima chassis and be a 300hp FWD cvt v6. Oh, and it'll eat oil.
