I try to avoid pointless post but I have not driven my saab in moths and I am sad thinking about the future of Saab, so I thought I would post some pictures to cheer me up. Please add some more happy Saab pics.

Pic i took, I think it was either the 06 or 07 Rally New York

I had more, better pics, but computer tanked, and this is all I have left.

Was an awesome car, in the exibition class, but it was goin pretty quick, but it would scream!. You'd think a F1 was coming around the corner... not quite.

Oh, and the mosquito-clearing effect of the blue exaust gasses was nice

procaine, I just voted up yer notchback over on the Readers' Rides. I've always liked those things. I was once the Service Mgr. at a racing buddy's indie SAAB shop. We ran a 99 in SCCA ITB, but I can't find a picture of it anywhere.

I don't have any pic of my Wife's new to us 03 9-5 Aero or my 99 9-3, but I am going to look at an 01 Viggen in a couple of hours, I can't wait.

Note to self: snap some pics.

Wouldn't call it cheating, unless you're talking about getting the magazine to pay for the thing..

I've helped change the water pump in one of those early B engines. My buddy that owned the indie SAAB shop had the factory tool to get the impeller out of/into the block without tearing up the gears. Back then (late `80s) there were still a lot of 99s around here in Atlanta. We had one every couple of months...It would start with a phone call from the owner asking for a quote. It would continue with a call from "Bob's Repair and Used Tires-all makes welcome!" asking how the uuuuhhhh to get the thing out. It would end with the car showing up on the hook in front of the shop.

"..but you quoted $XXX!.."

"Oh, so that was you that called..."

There is no such thing as a pointless SAAB thread. I have yet to own my first SAAB which could be a good thing because I know it'll be a slippery slope after I get that first one.
