Question to anyone who has experience with Pontiac Montana or Chev Venture type minivans. I am sending my engine doner van to the scrap yard soon. What parts should I keep from it that I'm bound to eventually need for my daily driver Montana?

at least one power window motor, switches, gauges, steering rack, struts if theyre good, brake parts. any wear items. headlights and taillights incase you break one.
Drivers window regulator. Front suspension bushing are made into the front arms, you might hang on to them. Other than that, the only other thing I have done to mine is lower intake gaskets. If you have still the engine out I would go ahead and change them.
If you made a trailer out of the rear axle you would be able to use the spare from the driver on it and not need to carry another.
Justifies keeping Caravan rear axles around....
Along the same lines, might as well crush one with two donut spares on it and keep yourself a full-sized rim and tire as a spare, if it'll fit.
Great suggestions so far. Never would have thought of some of them. I hate it when I scrap a vehicle then have to go to the yard to buy parts back off of my own vehicle. I'm new to GM minivans so the suggestions are really appreciated.
In reply to pilotbraden: I was trying to avoid keeping a lot of stuff from it. But I have a feeling that you are correct and the first thing that breaks is going to be one of the parts that I didn't keep for a spare.
