Anyone had any luck with this I am looking to pull the trigger on an LS6. It is a lot of dough to trust to an unknown interneter What's your experience and how did you get the engine delivered? residential or to a shipping location?

I ordered a transmission/ transfer case on eBay. It went well; I had it shipped to the office on a pallet.
Bought a used motor online.
I drove 100 miles to pick it up.
Was exactly as described, ran well, no problems.
BUT, I did check the feedback before pulling the trigger.
bought the 5.3 in my impala on ebay. it was advertised as a complete low mile takeout and they included the VIN from the truck it came from on my paperwork.
everything went smoothly, i picked it up at the freight terminal. the only problem i had was the forklift guy rammed it into the cap on my truck and broke the MAF and idler pulley.

And did they make it rite? I would have been annoyed. that is probibly $100 at least in parts used and more if new.

nope i got a "we'll look in to it and grab you the right stuff and mail it out" email and never heard from them again
