Hello all,

I've not been on here in a while but if any group can help me with an answer, it's this one.

Our family is looking for the value of a 1 owner '87 Chevy Silverado that has about 68,000 miles. It was used mostly May through November as a second vehicle.

It is a  2WD V6 long bed with dual tanks and is tan and brown (?) in color. It has been well maintained, and drives fine. It has minimal rust and  is located in Wisconsin.

The prices seem to be all over the place. Prices seem to be anywhere from about 2k to 20k+ for modded ones.

How's the old saying go?  "It's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it."

Pictures would help.  I'm not sure what "minimal rust" looks like in Wisconsin.  One owner, low mileage is a plus.  2WD and V6 long bed maybe a minus.  See if you can find comparable trucks for sale in your area.  If I needed to get it sold, I'd probably list it around 10k and see if I got any responses.

Thanks, that's about what I thought. 8k for family and 10k for everyone one else. Just wanted to see if I was close. I'm about 3.5hours from it so can't be hands-on. Hopefully, she remembers to get pictures.

I bought a 1990 C-10 once from Georgia, I live in NY.  I coulda doubled my investment because it was so rust free (compared to locals).  So your value is regional.  +/-

Hagerty has a valuation section on their website.  It helped me price my '77 when I sold it.
