Any preferred supplier of these?
I'd prefer someone who can work from my art.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Your local autocross club probably can point you to a sign/vinyl person who is used to working with cars. Here in Central FL, a lot of people turn to Patsy Tabor, she is a racer who does vinyl.
If you pick the right vinyl person, the effect can be fabulous. I once (2008 FL autocross championship we hosted at Sebring) saw a REALLY cool car Patsy did....It was a reddish-maroon BMW with a fine gold metal hued opalescent clear coat. She did a vinyl checkerboard that was an exact match to the color of the base coat. The net effect was a checkerboard pattern, but one that changed depending on the angle that you looked at the car. If the angle caught the gold overtones in the clear, the bare paint looked like the light squares, but from other angles, the vinyl squares looked lighter.....it was a checkerboard pattern that switched light and dark as you walked around the car. The effect was amazing....eyecatching, yet very subtle and classy, not at all "ricer boy"
^ sounds cool.
I'll look locally. The sign shop around the corner did a lousy job for me on a simple magnetic number, so I'll have to look a little farther this time.
Applying the stuff can be a pain, and that alone is worth having someone local do it. If you'd prefer mail order, contact Bret at info@rallygrafix.com. Chances are if you've seen a rally car, you've seen his work. He does the Subaru's for Vermont Sportscar among others. He does good work and is reasonably priced for us mere mortals, and has an eye for race car graphic design.

Shhh...don't rat me out, I barely have time to keep up with your stuff ;)
But yes, I can do simple jobs, if you can supply the files in .ai or .eps format it is best.
I do single color die cut stuff only though, I lack pockets deep enough for the vinyl printer to do multicolor stuff.
Shoot me an e-mail, JPHedberg@live.com if JThw8 doesn't have time. I can do cut or printed vinyl, no limitations.
Thanks!
I used to do this, in fact a couple cars I've done were in GRM; the E30 M3 from 05 or so is one of them. You just need to find someone who really knows what they are doing. When I did one M3 successfully I had five guys show up for me to do theirs also.
I'll bet there are at least a hundred people on this forum who do vinyl work.
You'll need to log in to post.
