To recap:
My friend John's sister was a model, married an old guy, old guy died, sis has the car in their mother's garage. Mom passed, house sold, gotta move the 911.
It's under a lean to next to John's garage. Going south....... mice, mold, you know.
It's coming to my garage! Of course I'm doing John a favor but the car has been through probate with no resolution. Lawyers welcome to chime in here. Sister has no interest as she has a Mini Clubman and an SUV.
Also anyone wanting a pickup or 914 is welcome
Sweeeeet. So are you keeping it? Is it going to be yours??
i don't remember the story, got a link?

So this is free under challenge rules, right? stampie rule? Nah.... of course not.... just silly...
White over red. Gorgeous!
Are we gonna start the bidding for this 911?
I got $100.
Wow.
Isn't Targa rear glass worth like a million dollars now?
PS: that's one of the roughest Uhaul car-haulers I have seen. Rusty steel? I thought most were made of heavy galvanized.
Like to have it, just trying to help a friend by rescuing a car.
I'm a mice guy....

“Mice guy”
Good thing from the sounds of it lol.
So you're selling a 914 or truck?
Nothing more expensive than a free Porsche, so I hear.
I'm confused.
Who's car is it? Are you likely to get it? Where is it going?
That’s a beaut...
These stories give me hope that one day I’ll have a shot at something like this.
Not a probate lawyer, but I'd recommend you have a clean title in your own name before you put any of your own money into it. Other than that, looks like a lot of fun.

I remember that one. I was one of the guys interested in buying it, but happy to see it's going to a good home. I've had to get titles for several cars over the years, some where easy, but the worst one took about 7 years and a couple of lawyers.
Are you selling your blue 914? I love that car.
Yupididit: 914 may go to my son, he called dibs but doesn't have a garage; the F-150 is going.
Call me a heretic, but I think I like that 914 more than the 911. Maybe because of the color

Probate lawyer did a crappy job if he didn’t title the car in John’s sister’s name, assuming the old guy didn’t specifically leave the car to someone else.
Working on finding out Maj.
sister's only son just got married to some high price doctor in Manhattan, no real need for any car.
Those "Pay $900 and get a Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine Title" places are not recognized in New York. My son is in Connecticut, easier than NY. Lets see.

The Readers Digest version is the first paragraph. I get wound around the axle buying cars with no Title, this one I would work for.

The executor should be able to sell the car in my opinion.
