A few of our old autocrossers may recall Mike and his burgundy Midget. He was a member of Polk Motorsports Assn., a part of the Council of Tampa Bay Autocross Clubs. Those were glory days of having an autocross within an easy drive 3 or 4 weekends a month in Central Florida. Mike was a regular entrant.
I saw him early this summer at a local ball game and he was on oxygen and in pretty bad shape.

Roger, thanks for posting that news. It is sad to hear. Mike was always a lot of fun, and those were some good times back in the day!

I reread Mike's obit today and missed an important part. Mike had been in very poor health, on oxygen and waiting for an organ transplant. Recently he left work on a rare vacation with optimism his health was allowing the transplant to go forward. He took a fall with a blow to the head. His death was an mannerism attributed to that fall. He does leave his wife Alana of many years and i believe two grown children.
And thank you Danny for the personal contact. Reading mail from old friends is always assuring. GRM serves many purposes
