Anyone heading into town this weekend for the Roar Before the Rolex? Honestly, it's kind of like having the entire Daytona Speedway to yourself. Hopefully this year it won't snow.

I've got friday and sunday off...hmm friday it is, autox on sunday!
Was planning on attending Friday, but got sidelined with the flu and will need to catch up at the office

Arrive Thursday and stay till Saturday may stay for Saturday night fueling practice as that is all ways fun to watch . We have a truck full of tearoffs and we now have the 2 and 4 layer Racing Optiks products . Allways a great timein Daytona and believe it you have a complete run of the track . And allways cool to see what is new before the crowds get there . Getting our Challenge MGB ready for the Rolex to putt around in and display at the GRM experience . <img src="

I'm going to update the event page tonight, but looks like we'll be doing garage tours with Team Sahlen (Rolex-series Mazda RX-8s) and BimmerWorld (Continental-series BMWs).
See you there Dave bringing 3 miatas and a 240 behind me. Any idea if the normal turn 1 gates are open yet or are we still using the modified entry???

Thanks for the reminder. Had a group ready to go, and then realized it was the same weekend as the club banquet. Since the track champion, the CSP autox champion and the M.C. were all planning on going, the road trip got canceled. Make sure you do this again in 2013, we're changing our event date!
It should be a fun, low-impact day.
I will be there and have media / photo access. Beside the compusulary car shots, I'm hoping to try to get some extra people photos this weekend. In addition to posting them at Facebook (Sput Dodge) I'll have various galleries on Photobucket. I'll post the links here over the weekend.

Easy parking in the infield with your ticket - lots of room. Boy Scouts will take up the Orange Tent Camping area.
