Well lived sir!
As everyone else has echoed I would have never guessed 91. Amazing the breadth of people we attract.
Godspeed to you sir.

I wish that I was as cool now, at 31, as he was at 91.
It's always sad to lose another from the forum. But it sounds like he had many years of a life well lived. And I'll also join the "I had no idea he was that old" club.
Old ice racers don't die, they just slide away...
Rest easy Mr. Vedder. The world is a little less bright today
I'm sad to hear of iceracer's passing, but what a life he lived! Loved his enthusiasm, put me in the camp that would have guessed he was in his 50s.
Wow. Always sad to hear of someone passing, but I'm another who wouldn't have guessed he was over 90 from his posts, and hope it was satisfying to have such a full and active run. Seems to me he really made the most of it!
I would have never guessed either. If I had half his ability and kept at it half as long as he did, I'd consider myself lucky.
Cheers, Iceracer. I'm headed out now to send some tire smoke up your way.
Man, that stinks.... Glad to hear he got to be involved for so long. We could all be so lucky. Thoughts with his family and friends. Godspeed ice-racing-dude.
