sedan vs 2 door suv , muscular dd

in my mind a box chevrolet caprice is fighting against a 2 door tahoe for the spot to be my sporty dd with a/c since i plan to rid myself of my 3 projects and my pickup to buy my wife a newer suv (suburban) and get myself a fun car for the comute and to haul a kid around comfortably , and still have fun with wrenching on it and driving around. of course , suspension, wheels ,and motor will be tinkered with....

If the wife is getting a Suburban, get something that can handle. That is driving fun. Evo...MS3....wrx.....cobalt ss (sedan) all of these have plenty of room to haul a kid comfortably, and all have strong aftermarkets, even if you buy older ones.
