That also gets into the debate of car performance vs bike performance. $5k can get you on a used 1L or larger sport bike with a performance envelope in the super car realm.

As a former street rider - It's not trying to kill you, it's all the other jackasses that don't watch for motorcycles that re trying to kill you.

The how isn't the problem, it's when. I'd rather die of cancer at 85 than of blunt force trauma now.

No interest in driving any of the modern "super cars". Got my fill of driving that type of car back in 1965.
Hustling a 427 Cobra around Nelson Ledges for 1/2 hour was enough "super car" driving to last me a life time.
