With the recent (at least to me) discovery that c4 corvettes are way more awesome with stripping all the parts off- this got me to thinking, what else makes a good ghettocette? I'd say Viper, because we've all seen the stripped ones running around on youtube- but them E36 M3s is spendy. I'm thinking challenge money. Anyone have any ideas?

I think I've seen pics of a G body set up that way, really anything with a frame or non load bearing body panels would work.

I've never seen anything quite like that, yet I'm not only compelled to build one, I also want to use it to commute to work with...

I want to do that to the F-150 in my front yard. But it would be hard to work out the shift linkage for the 5 spd

I don't know why but the "roller-skate" and "naked" cars seem like a great idea to me. This Miata is a classic example you see floating around on different forums Add an engine to bring down the front, add lights and perfection I've seen a few pictures of GTRs with the body removed for a carbon skin or wider body but I can't find them. GTRs look very attractive with all their techno-bytes showing I've been drawn to 944s lately and I would like to drive this one as-is

The 918 and just about every super/hyper car look great too

Miata of course! Many have been cut down to be something like a Lotus 211, someone on this board has one.

Someone cut down an AW11 MR2 into the "MR1.5" by sawzalling off just about everything outside of the shock towers. Worked well and didn't look bad, although the only consolation in chopping up one of the coolest cars ever is that it was rusty as hell anyway.

Are both of these in the projects section? I want to see them...

I just remembered another this DSM looks like stupid amounts of fun. I would swap for smaller diameter fatter tires
