Hard to find sample video on youtube... wondering what the audio is like and what you would use to edit/upload to youtube. Any ideas? Seems silly to not try it for $45 shipped, though.
Spend a little more can get you something like a used Canon PowerShot A570 IS with 4x optical image stabilized zoom lens.
Image quality>>sport camera market gimmicks.
FWIW: I've been using a Sanyo Xacti HD1010 to shot HD in-car videos, and am mostly let down by its lack of IS. Even its resolution capabilities (720p/1080i) are a misnomer if it is not mounted on something very still.
