My first car that I bought with my lawn mowing money in 1974. It was a 1969 Shelby GT500. Had a bad starter and the gas shortage was in full swing.
Paid the man $450 and push started it then drove it home. Dad had a fit because I was 14, I would kill myself in it, it was a gas guzzler, back tires were bald..etc.
He had me take it back and get my money back...got $400.
Currently owned by a policeman who lives less than 10 miles from me. See him driving it every so often.
