Behold the Holden Commodore...I mean Pontiac G8 GXP
Saw this Bronco in Grants Pass, Oregon yesterday. Was able to talk to the owner for a few minutes. 1974 with original paint. A friend of his got it out of a barn in Missouri, where it had been stored for about 20 years. Friend decided he needed it and made him a great deal. He has rebuilt the 302, converted to disk brakes, upgraded the suspension, and lifted it 2.5". Interior looks perfect. Think he said it has about 80k miles.
It's kind of cheating since it was at the last good guys show I went to but this truck is amazing. 454 with a stick. Standard cab, short bed dually. It was sweet.
A buddy sent me this one since it was a Mondial. 360 wheels, lowered but of most interest is that it's Yngwie Malmsteen. They didn't realize or care probably ha!
Freaking Florida
Caught this clean Conquest parked at a local butcher shop and talked to the owner a little when he came out. It's his fourth one, though the first that has become a driver, and is slated to get a 2JZ swap. Nice looking car. Bonus points for the child seat in the back.

I saw my first Dakota Sport 'vert last night who was vacationing here. What a cool car to take on vacation!
You don't see one of these every day, a Tesla Roadster. Apparently only around 1500 are left on the road.

I see mine every day but haven't worked on it in 5 months. I suck. It's cool to see one though, it kinda blows your mind.
In the shop yesterday were four unicorns. They were all employee cars
Chevy SS
Evo IX
S60R
And... a Lancer sportback. Not a Ralliart, a base Lancer.
I thought all Sportbacks were Ralliarts!
No picture, sadly, as it bopped through the intersection before I could capture it, but I saw a very decent Daihatsu Rocky Friday afternoon.
It feels wrong to assign unicorn status to a Rocky, of all things, but numbers don't lie. And there it was, in all its chonky, period straight-line goodness, scooting around like it was having the time of its little unicorn life.
How bizarre, how bizarre.
