That's funny, I really enjoyed driving my bosses grandfather's 1981 silver spirit. Life slows down when you're driving it... at least it better because the rolls has the responsiveness of a hippo. A big fat comfy hippo

I want one with a big turbo diesel... but the Baja/rally look would be a LOT of fun

The Citroen nerds I know brag about how RR had to come to the French to figure out how to make a world-class suspension. I too was not all that impressed by the amount of dive and roll on the Citroen I rode along in. Steering is vague in those as well.
^LOL
Worse suspension ever? My girlfriend driving a POS Subaru she just bought for another project.
I did that in a customer Corolla once (no too far from where that video was). But i stopped after the first or second time because i didnt want to make it any worse. If i had OWNED it i might have done it about 15 times just for laughs as well. hehe

I cut my teeth in 60's american cars. Cutlass', LTD's, and other stuff. This thing was awful. I will have to purchase dramamine before I have to drive it back.
It was like driving a waterbed.

Is that her car for the rallycross nationals?

Ford 7.3, bags (or baja)... I can see this working.

Nope. The rallycross car is another gutted coupe with my STi-RA drivetrain behind a 2010 WRX engine. I've built a new suspension for it that will be going on it this Friday.

Since phaze already beat me to the Cannonball Run joke, I can only say that I'm stoked Brianne Corn's BF is here. Back on topic, I've never driven a Rolls, but I've heard other sportscar guys say pretty much the same thing. I'd do the Baja thing if it was ratty, or start my own limo service with it if it was clean. Folks used to riding in limos don't seem to care about how the car handles anyway..

I can only assume that part of the reason he's remained so tactfully silent about it is to avoid semi-awkward comments about it.
