What a wild car to watch go through the slalom course, earning the nickname "Zamboni" as it swept it's way through the course. The inside of the windshield was etched as though hit by a sandblaster, it threw debris 20+ feet into the air.

It was donated to the NCM and is used for teaching STEM.
And to be fair, the team built their own in 1:18 scale. Mine is 1:25.

We actually did a scale GRM Challenge car class last October in the forum model contests, which I believe is what George started building this car for. It is the first replica of a real Challenge car as all the other contestants built "in the spirit of" cars. This is absolutely one of my favorite builds of all time! Did you notice that the turbochargers were different sizes, just like the real car?

Definitely not the first, but much better than my amateurish effort a decade ago. Don't have any pictures handy; I think it is lost to the depths of my father's garage...
