Found this Tacoma on Craigslist and called about it. The gentleman said the dealership said it needed a computer and he is done messing with it so off to Craigslist it goes.
What the thoughts from you guys? Is it as simple as a buying a new computer? Is this gonna turn into a mess?

Get it for $500, try a used/junkyard computer. If it’s a bigger problem, you could probably part it out for profit anyway.
I bet a turbo and megasquirt would fix it.

That is dirt cheap. I see it has a new frame, but check the body for rust.

This !buy it either way cause thats cheap and its gotta be an easy fix. 2rzs seem to love some boost.
If it's not obviously trash and you like the truck then i would buy it first and figure out how to fix it later. For that money it's unlikely to turn out badly.
