Fun to reread an oldie. I do wish I could get my hands on a Borgward Isabella but I want the TS Coupe and I think those have appreciated a lot.

2 years, and its not hoarding if i sold enough to down to 10 cars
there was a Borgward Isabella at the hackenberger auction that we bought the panhard dyna and studebaker president at last summer. I did bit on it, but not seriously
I had a guy stop and talk while I was putting gas in my 1969 Mustang convertible and he casually mentioned that his buddy has one kinda like it...but it had a Boss motor in it. Most of the time it is just idle boasting but I ALWAYS look because ya never know. Sure enough, it is a 69 Boss 302 and I have spent the last 28 years trying to buy this garage sitter Mustang to no avail.
This should be called "expected comment" because "it got a Boss motor" is one of the most often brags made!
