Hi Folks,
My new-to-me Volvo 850 turbo’s fuel pump seems to be on the fritz (I plan to build some hp with this car. Targeting 300hp). I am contemplation pulling a fuel pump at the junkyard ($20), to replace the stock pump – that is acting up.
So, I have a question a for the brain-trust here at GRM (which has not failed me in 20 years):
• What vehicle should I target for a high-volume fuel pump. I am hoping there is a high-volume Bosch unit that will fit inside the Volvo’s pump assembly.

The OEM Bosch unit that came in your 850 T5 is the bomb. Someone on a Volvo board actually tested one and it out-flowed the walbro 255 that the interwebs knew was better. The bosch fuel pump relay can get tierd so you might want to pick up a good used on of those too.

Sweet. There is a T5 out in the yard too. It looks to be a in great shape.
So I will go back and get it's pump and relay.
