Nothing relevant to add, but I think this commercial made every kid want one in the late 90's.

Limp noodle unibody with heavy subframes that twist like a twizzler. 7.5" rear axles that like to eject the carrier out through the cover with nothing more than sticky tires (ask me how I know), and squeaky rattly plastic interiors. They are a throwback to 60's technology and built on the same basic 60's unit body and subframe design. If you want a performer, don't get it. If you want a rattly rusted out limp noodle, just pull the trigger and get a 60's F-body. Then at least you'll look really cool while sucking on the track. (I'm exaggerating and being a jerk for comic effect, but I was never an F-body fan.)

Ewww.

Do not like.

Yeah, that's a bit harsh, but the 10-bolt rear axle truly is a piece of E36 M3. I run Hoosiers on my car and it eats diffs like candy. It would be a much better car with an 8.8 or 9-inch, but SCCA rules and whatnot forbid that.

I'm with some of the other people here. The 3rd gen is a much more fun car.
