The various Priuses (save for base model Prius Cs with steelies and hubcaps) have generally had decent alloy wheels on them. The covers many of them have on the wheels (which are often a partial cover and not a full hubcap) are for aerodynamics, so at higher speeds you may see a slight loss of MPG by removing them.
I decoded the VIN. This one I'm getting is a base with the #1 package. I might poke around for some alloys from another C... or I might just go all Fiat 500C and do dog dishes and trim rings on stock steelies.
Curtis, my understanding is this is a 2, not a 1. Anyway, I'm glad Threepio is going to someone who will appreciate him. The snows are larger (195 instead of 185) and give slightly better ground clearance. They are studded. Don't forget you get summers as well with only one season on them.
Push button start, keyless entry, cool stuff I'm gonna miss that even the Maverick I bought does not have.
And a CD player!!!!! I think I cleaned about 20 CDs out of the car yesterday.

The Prius C has the Gen 2 prius 1.5L motor- which is a good thing I think. Less issues than the Gen 3 1.8L motors.
That's one of the reasons I went with the C. More reliable motor, supposedly. Going to a regular Prius, I would have had to go back to 2008 to a Gen 2, and all the ones I was finding were insanely high mileage. Getting the C let me get one with a little more life but keep the 1.5L
I bought mine when it had 270k miles. Drive it to 350k when the head gasket started to fail. Had a shop swap in a 40k mile motor and transmission for peanuts and it's now at 370k on the chassis. I'll find out the brand of aftermarket wheels on mine but they look great.
This is the wheel that's on my car, in gunmetal grey, and it looks great!
