Today, I managed to finagle a trip to Leeds, Alabama. For one reason or another, the SO agreed to go with me.
What is in Leeds?
Ha, That's MY bike!
See the rest here.

Wonderful pics, never been there! Today I visited an ice track at Mont Tremblant, where we drove A1, TTRS, RS3 Sportbacks and A7s in the snow. It was a great way to spend a Saturday.
Well, i tore down one of my extra 6g72 motors (getting ready for a swap into my caravan) and helped a friend put some poly control arm bushings, front struts, and axle seals into his turbo/5spd caravan.
A good day in my opinion. Looks like yours was fun too.
I slept in till 1, played some Angry Birds. Then I had a few bagels, watched an episode of Lost. Then I watched The Godfather Part II. That's about it.
Realized how poor I am. Made me sad nobody wants to be my roommate for $500/month (all utilities, brand new condo, powered parking stall, your own complete bathroom). When you only net $2400/month, an extra $500 goes a long way!

Nobody wants to be your roommate because you live in berkeleying Canada. Nobody likes Canada. Not even Canadians.
You had a lot more fun than me. I basically pooped all day.
On the plus side I probably lost a bit of weight.
Slept in today, eventually ran over to Autozone for oil & filters (gotta do SWMBO's truck and my black Corrado before the winter storm gets here tmw), and walked 1/3 of a mile while SWMBO ran a mile.

Realized that I wish to know more about what makes a 6g72 go into a caravan, especially if it's a quad cammer for eventual turbos.
I jump started my truck that had been sitting for about three weeks so I could drive it to the grocery store. I bought food. Then I tried to start the truck to go home and it was still completely dead, so I walked the 2 miles home to get my other car and drive it over to jump start my truck so I could get my groceries home. I dropped off my groceries, leaving the truck running, and then drove it around aimlessly for about another half an hour hoping the battery would charge. Then I went home, drank half a bottle of wine, ate some cheese, and called a cab to take me back to the store so I could pick up my car and bring it back home. Now it's midnight and I didn't get anything done except grocery shopping and now the TPMS light on my car is on, but it's probably just because it's cold as berkeley.

Hmm, you maybe right. I forgot that I'm way too awesome for most people to handle. I should practice being more mediocre.
I actually got a phone call right before supper, guy had atrocious verbal skillz, I couldn't get "Sorry, the room has been rented" out of my mouth quick enough.
sigh
Fixed the stuck throttle on my van after it had sat for about 5 weeks, yep it was jumped also, did a little work on the S10, still fixing that rear end from $2010 and traced a coolant leak on one of the work cars, scheduled Mondays duties and then got online and have wasted the rest of the day.
I wish I had spent it with you.
Built a guitar pedalboard, bug fixed a bad ass calendar events thing (loosely based on the one here) and got drunk on Pendleton. Yeah, good Saturday.

That needs to be in the magazine.
I worked at my second job washing cars. I was informed that the person who had the Charger I was about to wash bragged about having sex in it with some "big ole gal".
I used two cans of upholstery cleaner and hosed down it down twice. When I say "hosed it down" I mean "hosed it down" no pun intended.
My wife and I had dinner with that guy that runs Barber in Dallas at LOG 26. Well, more like we were sitting at the picnic table outside and he sat down to eat. Nice guy. Wonderful collection. He brought a few of them. They started up one of the V8 F1 cars. Now that's a "good" sound.
Oh, and my Saturday? Cut, split, stacked a rick of oak, took the turbo and manifold off my Esprit motor.

I love Canada
I left at 4:30am to drive from the SW Chicago Suburbs to Holland, Michigan to drop a kid off at college.
At one point we were the only folks on the interstate. I figured we would drive until we got stuck in our Trailblazer 4WD.
Avoided Mrs. Zero all day, she has pink eye .
Put the battery charger on the Dakota, helped a fellow IT guy build his server (strange I know), and took a look at a very blue and rusty Fiero . . .
