I've been daily driving my '06 Insight, unless there is too much snow.  Then I take the Acura TL or the bus

My battery pack is on the way out, should probably try a grid charger to ward off the inevitable

I've been dailying my '01 F250 since I bought it new.  Sure it's slow, heavy and a bit thirsty but it's comfortable and I don't have to figure out when I leave the house in the morning if I'm going to need any of the truck's truck capabilities.  I can tow, haul, off road or do a road trip at a moments notice.

2012 Mazda 3 Skyactiv

Chose it because it was the opposite of the Buick I had before (inherited) and got good mpgs.

I don't love it (loud, uncomfortable seats, poor AC, wears out tires fast) but it's paid for.

I have a very nice truck that lives a pampered life sitting at home. The Civic is perfect for daily grind and parking at the fire station sketchy ass parking lot for 24 hours at a stretch.

In summer I alternate between the two modern sports cars I keep insured, the 09 Solstice GXP coupe and the 07 BMW Z4M coupe.

I also run one of the old sports care every summer - this summer it is the Jamaican bodied MGA with 3.4 V6 Camaro engine/trans.

Am in the middle of doing some work on the Jensen but hopefully it will see at least a little use this summer as well.

15 Mustang GT. All day every day.  Seemed like the best performance bang for the buck when I purchased it.

Still fun to go fast but I’m getting tired of driving a big car on the road. I’d rather be driving a Miata right now since my wife daily drives a CRV and that can handle all other tasks that I need.

I’ll swap you my NB for your GT :)

My dd/ only car is a 99 Miata. Bought it in ‘16 because after 7yrs and 100k miles, my Mazda6 got boring.

I love driving the Miata but I am craving more power and more seats

A 1998 Saturn.  Its a perfectly adequate appliance.  If it were up to me, my DD would be a bicycle, but that is difficult to do right now.

Would it be possible to have what spring/struts your using and wheel size offset, tire size? I love the look, Any issues rubbing? Bottoming out?

H&R Sports with one dead coil removed on janky RockAuto struts.  15x8 +25, 205/50 15.  No rubbing, no bottoming out, although it is close to the bumpstops so there isn't a ton of compression travel left.

+35 would be a better offset, but DTD didn't have any and I'm cheap.  I stacked all the discounts to do $320 off the whole package :)

For the non-snowy parts of the year, I DD an '01 Mustang GT with 299.7k on it.  The rest of the year, I split time between our '06 RAV4 and the '05 Odyssey.  I like them all, I enjoy the manual in the Mustang, along with the rumble from the exhaust.  By the winter, I'm growing tired of the manual and the exhaust, so it's a great time to switch back to a quieter automatic.

I think I would struggle to drive one car for the rest of my life, no matter how amazing it was.  Having the opportunity to switch up the car I'm driving makes each one a little more enjoyable.

Mustang:

Pros: Exhaust sound, manual transmission, torque

Cons: Manual can get old when constantly stopping/starting, try dropping three kids (and their ginormous backpacks) off at school with one and you'll figure it out

Odyssey:

Pros: Sliding doors so I can trust my kids in parking lots, plenty of space (I once had a drum to drum Ford 8.8" rear axle in one plus three kids in carseats), great road trip vehicle, space for 8, each kid has their own space (prevents fights), fantastic HVAC, not awful to drive

Cons: older, so there's always something to replace/fix, brakes are underspec'd for its weight

Rav4:

Pros: AWD, great size for any parking lot, V6 has good power, hitch and tow package allows me to tow a decent-sized utility trailer (this setup is my pickup truck replacement)

Cons: second row seatbelt design is poor (two belts cross), not enough room for all the kids, older and needs more maintenance

Maybe switch to my newly refurbished Katana 750 for nice days if I pass my operator license test next Tuesday!

I want to get back to dailying my RX7 before it gets too late in the year, but for now I daily my winter beater Chevy Sonic LTZ. No, it's not a turbo, but yes it is at least manual.

Once I sort out the couple issues on the 7 it will be back on summer daily duty until it either breaks or it starts getting below 40 in the morning.

I have a 2000 Tahoe LT for daily use. Quiet, reliable and comfortable. It is thirsty, but it does everything I need and don't have to worry about space or the weather. I have a 2009 Cobalt SS that I really need to get running to split the fuel costs...

2010 CTS-V AT. Can I ask anyway? I’m getting a weird noise shifting from 3-4, and it doesn’t sound like it’s coming from the trans.

Best I’ve managed is about 1 liter per hectare.
