I don't need it for automotive use, but thought this would draw more eyes than in off-topic.
I need some stick on heat shielding for the pellet hopper on my smoker.
It's a flat rectangle, but I don't really have the space for screw on metal shields.
Are there any brands or types of stick on people like that actually work?
I've seen stuff that looks like sound deadening, bubbled foil looking stuff, and some fancy thin aluminum foil looking options.
I'm just trying to deflect some heat is all, not insulate or stop noises or anything like that.

What about wrapping it in like fiberglass header wrap?
Keeping heat in or keeping heat out?

Keeping heat out.
I don't think it gets hot enough to smolder pellets, but I'm concerned about the electronics.
Spacing considerations mean the griddle is right next to the pellet hopper, and it gets pretty warm. 300ish on my IR thermometer.
Sure, lower than solder melting point but I'd rather keep it cooler.
Like something you'd put in a carpetless miata transmission tunnel to stop your foot from burning up on long drive.

In that case, I have had REALLY good luck with 'Reflect-A-Gold' by Design Engineering (this stuff) and it works really good and is decent to work with, also available in sheet form. I've also put their 'Cool Tape/Reflect-A-Cool' in to application and my friend said their back doesn't get as hot now when racing her kart so there is a less 'look at me' option as well.
This Thermo-Tec stuff is holding up great in the tunnel of my Corvette: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/the-13575. It's a thin, woven fiberglass mat with a layer of reflective foil on top.
I've got DEI Floor and Tunnel on the box of my BBQ and on the inside of the tunnel of my carpetless 500 hp Miata :) I found it worked better than anything else I've tried.

2nd DEI floor shield. Tunnel used to get so hot it would melt my shoe. Now I can drive around paddock in flip flops

So I went with the thermatec aluminized wrapping. Actually got enough to do it twice.
it may not be pretty, but it should protect the electronics
