My vote is for #4 but I think I may have already communicated that.
It's too bad my/your/Basil/my Falcon is gone. Free Miata would have been the perfect subframe donor for that car.
With a 111" wheelbase, the Miata would require that you graft some wheelbase in front of the firewal AND also cut and add wheelbase behind the rear seats. Still not a terrible idea, except that then you would also want to V8 swap the car and suddenly it turns into a lot of work.

The cut down doors of the MX120 are neat, but the rest of the styling doesn't flow for me.
The van would be awesome, but human legs being the crumple zone has never felt right for me.
I vote Type 35. If the front subframe can be made to work with minimal mods, it might be 'ok' if you can keep the ugly bits all visually minimized (hidden) enough. But unless you're looking to sell it as a 'bolt-on' kit, if the subframe modifications becomes substantial, I would also not go to great lengths to avoid scrapping it in favor of a less compromised solution either. Would it be too blasphemous to build a solid axle for the front that mates to the Miata spindles and sits way out front?
I'd do the Type-35, but don't use the front subframe, just build a tubular chassis that has the same mounting locations and bolt the Miata suspension directly to it. The clutter will be the struts, so move them inboard as previously suggested. For the Falcon idea, I'd figure out how to utilize just the Miata subframes and not do a complete chassis swap . Then put in a typical subframe connector, like any 60s muscle car gets. I'll also point out that the Miata track width is very close to the same width as a Fox Mustang, so you could leave the Falcon with a live axle rear.
I propose a version of option3: Same concept but done Maserati birdcage style...

If we are suggesting other options, I have a ton of ideas:
option 1: "easy" but expensive
Option 2: maybe a bit played out? But an easy project for a man like nocones and a good use for a miata with a trashed body
Option 3: Some kind of t-bucket or hotrod? Bodies are cheap and I think small enough
