...another great brand is Eurmax Pro series which is what the daily market guys use and abuse but I have never seen one break.
Yeah, our club replaced an aging pair of EZ-up branded 10x10s with a single Eurmax Pro 10x20. It's a very nice tent with a sturdy aluminum frame.

These days, we use real EZ-Ups - there really is a difference.
Yup. Got my EZ-Up from Costco many years ago. It's still in great condition and we still use it. My neighbor buys the cut-rate knockoffs. He buys a new one every year or two. My wife doesn't like ours because it's so heavy. I like it because it's so heavy. #marital_bliss

You get a discount on ez-ups if you're an SCCA member

The fabric in my ezup brand canopy broke down after a few years. I use it like one a year now (for non-racing purposes :( ), but it's more like "mesh" in parts and less water resistant.
In reply to Snrub :
EZ-Up sells replacement fabric tops, at least for current models. Looks like about a third of the price of a whole new canopy. If your frame is still good, that might be an interesting option for you.
Gallon windshield washer bottles filled with gravel.
I have a cheapo Walmart (or something) version for camping/outdoor stuff. I drilled a hole through each of the legs and fed a guy line through them. On grass a stake the guy lines down. On solid surfaces I tie them to 20 pound barbell weights on each corner. Works for me.
I bought heavy tent stakes online (look like big nails with a plastic hook) for grass.
4 Silverado brake disks (take offs from my daily) and cheap ratchet straps for pavment.

Huh, that's weird. Our club had 2 branded EZups that are probably 25 years old. They live in the trailer a lot, of course, but when both frames were worn out, the fabric was still in great shape.

We had to set up a canopy in the parking lot every day at my old job (rental company).
This is what I have and they work well. The clips/straps attach easily to the legs of the canopy and they don't take up much space on the ground unlike using spare wheels. Just don't drag them across the pavement, you will rip the bottoms off and lose all the sand (someone did that to one of mine).
I have 4 empty 5 gallon oil jugs filled with gravel and waste oil. Fill each with rocks. Then fill with waste oil to take up the space between the rocks. Get a good workout without breaking my back. Also, get a good canopy from a reputable company. Ours has hexagonal aluminum extrusions with replaceable nylon joints all bolted together. Been using it for a decade and it's great.
