There was an engineer I worked with in the past that would say metrics-is when he was trying to talk about the plural of a metric.  Drove me crazy.

Who told us to knock off the learn me last time? We had the entire first page as learn me and VS threads.

That’s because engineers only know how to tell people to do things, not actually do them in the field

Rafters are constructed on site and trussed are prefabbed. At least around here.
