I'll say it again hoping that they still could change their minds...
COPPERHEAD.... RAZOR....
I would never dream of buying a new car... But I promise... I will pre-order one of those... TODAY...

This far, and no Mazda RX500, Furai, or Shinari? For shame, GRM, for shame!
Nissan Foria:
Mercedes-Benz C111:
Honda HSC:
The 2-mode Saturn Vue did make it to production. An auto journalist friend drove one and was extremely impressed. The City of Oshawa currently has at least one in its fleet, and maybe more – I've never bothered to track the plates or fleet ID numbers. Also, according to AutoTrader, you can buy one today if you're in St. Catharines, ON, and drop by the local Acura dealer. And Wikipedia says the Chevrolet version of the Vue, called Captiva Sport, has stayed in production for South America and will be coming back to the States later this year. No idea whether that includes the hybrid version, though.
They did build a Dodge Razor, I bought one. I store it next to my other car models. I would have bought the full size version as well if available.
P.S. The C111 Wankle engine coupe was my all time favorite car in my teens. It just looked "Awesome"!
The Copperhead never did it for me. It just looks like a cheap knock-off of a Viper.
If you judge styling from the halo car downwards, i dont know how you can stand to look at anything that didnt cost $80k new. Every crosshair grille on every dodge in the 90s was a knock-off of a viper grille, then? The copperhead in 97 looked better than any of the other similar cars i listed did in their own release dates (or to the present imo).

I would put a deposit in on a Furai today if they announced production. It may be about 1/100 of a % deposit, but it will be a deposit nonetheless.

Also Ford had a another concept around the mid-60s that had hidden headlights and was amazing looking. I have it in one of my old books somewhere, but haven't found it online...
... if only.

There are none that exist for sale to the general public. If you prove me wrong, I'd be glad to buy one. Like I said, there were plenty made that are on the streets (GM owned vehicles, none sold) to this day, but they never hit dealer floors. You'll see them running around Detroit to this day, as they're still part of their test fleet.

Yup, we had a bunch of these at my school (UM-Dearborn) GM was doing some project in collabration with the school on battery development
1997 Suzuki C2.
This was designed in 1997, and to me, looks better than anything currently in production.
Based off the Cappuccino platform, this was apparently going to have a 1.6L V8.
Otherwise, yes. Dodge Razor. WHY NOT?!
And personally, I always thought the copperhead looked like crap...

This thing kinda reminds me of a Euro Mk.II Ford Escort, I like it. simple, clean, efficient, unassuming, and it doesn't look like a melted blob of plastic with wheels.

+eleventybillion to all of those, especially the VW and the Suzuki C2. 1.6L V8? that thing must have wanted to rev to the moon and back! Am I the only one seeing a lot of Toyota Sports 800 in the C2?

+elevenhundredeleventybillion I never found anything visually appealing about that thing either

OMG I would LOVE to have one of these with an I6 gas, or a 4cyl turbo diesel. The Bronco would be cool IF the top came off, like the first generation.
Thats a really big, heavy truck for a 4cyl diesel....
no i6 these days, just a way more compact and durable 3.8 v6 that makes just as much power.
