I'm running the 2014 Chicago Marathon with Team World Vision to help provide clean water for communities in Africa.

You know what's crazy? Well, lots of things, I guess. Like running a marathon. But you know what else is crazy? It only costs $50 to provide clean water for another human being for their entire life!

What else can you get for $50?

• A concert ticket. Before TicketMaster gets their pound of flesh.
• A tank of gas. If your tank isn't too big.
• Dinner and a movie. By yourself.

What if we got enough people to make every song on the play list something like oh the "Barbie Girl" song? So for the entire marathon you had to listen to it over and over?

Are we trying to slow him down because that would be demotivating to listen to, or speed him up so he has to listen to it fewer times?

i've got 78 songs on the list, and so far only 5 or 6 are reserved. so if you can come up with 72 x $100 to buy out the rest of the list, i'll listen to that piece of E36 M3 all the way! it's for the children, you know.

Wish i could donate money, but I'll donate advice. Listen to your legs. They hurt for a reason. The Chicago Marathon broke both my mothers legs. I had to help carry her. Be a SafeCorvair, not just an AngryCorvair. Best of luck with the run and fundraising.

i appreciate your willingness to chip in, but save it for next year's MS ride. ;-) you can still predict a finish time, and if you win i'll put that $20 to your MS ride.

There is a small (very small) chance you will end up with the theme song from flash Gordon on your playlist. Probably I won't donate that much, but I'll definitely be donating. Probably right now actually
