So, I spent three days (or almost) looking like a Smirf with electrodes stuck (glued) to my head. In order to protect these electrodes, my head was wrapped with gauze. In order to protect the gauze, there was a Smirf cap. What made it a Smirf cap was the bundle of electronics at the top of my head that was them covered by my fancy-schmancy Smirf cap. This morning, I woke bright and early to remove said electrodes and equipment. Outch. I then showered and used GoJo as usual to clean my hair. I got most of it, but my scalp is sore.
This isn't the E36 M3ty part. My weekend was great compared to my friends's due to the fact that I got to sit around 3 days, play games, eat, and watch TV.
My friend just bought a house out in the county. It was a nicely priced, stripped foreclosure. He called the plumber to come by and install the copper. He got ¾ of the way done, and called it quits for the day. I'm sure you've already figured it out, but when my friend got there the next day, just about all the copper was gone. Yep. Someone sat on that until the house was left alone.
My weekend sounds just fine after that.
Hope everyone's weekend was good. Kenseth won.
Smurf me, that really Smurfs!
I've done the electrodes stuck to my chest thing, but the head sounds worse. Hope everything is OK.
I thought this was going to start with you dancIng Nekkid in da woods and perhaps involve some unsuspecting hunters.

Ouch. Guys still install copper for a gut? Now that I've played with PEX, it'll be rare and specific situations where I'd go back to copper. Much easier/faster to install and much cheaper materials.
I like PEX. So easy a klutz like me can do it!

The county where I live requires copper.
- All water supply and distribution lines shall be of type L or M copper for above ground and type K copper for underground.

He has decided to switch material after the last of the unnecessary copper has been removed. Probably this PEX magic you're talking about.
Appleseed, if I told you, I'd have to kill you.

In reply to psteav:

Something is not right.
PEX pipe is approved for potable hot- and cold-water plumbing systems and hot-water (hydronic) heating systems in all model plumbing and mechanical codes across the U.S. and Canada.
You have quoted that out of context, so I can't tell what is being misinterpreted, but local counties don't write building codes. They adopt versions of model codes, generally the IBC. There is no limitation on using PEX for water lines in the IBC.
I suspect that code is a reference to WHEN copper is used for water lines certain wall thicknesses are required. I doubt it means only copper can be used.
