Since the new racing season is here and my ONLY cable option is Comcast, whom I absolutely refuse to give any more money to, I have no way of watching any races. As you all know, the kickoff is next weekend and I'm about to go into panic attacks trying to figure out what to do. Ok, not really but I WOULD like to know if anybody here has any ideas? I currently have DSL with an hdmi output from my Macbook Pro which we've been using to stream Netflix for the last two months. Any ideas? As I said, Comcast is my ONLY cable option - and I won't even consider that one. Satellite is a no as I live in an apartment complex.
you can get Dish Network via smartphone now..
ALMS will be shown on ESPN3.com, but you have to have internet and TV from the same provider.
I will be watching every ALMS event that I cannot attend live over my X-Box.

Because the apartment management says you can't? They can't restrict you from having a dish in areas that are under your exclusive control.

Q: If I live in a condominium or an apartment building, does this rule apply to me?
A: The rule applies to antenna users who live in a multiple dwelling unit building, such as a condominium or apartment building, if the antenna user has an exclusive use area in which to install the antenna. "Exclusive use" means an area of the property that only you, and persons you permit, may enter and use to the exclusion of other residents. For example, your condominium or apartment may include a balcony, terrace, deck or patio that only you can use, and the rule applies to these areas. The rule does not apply to common areas, such as the roof, the hallways, the walkways or the exterior walls of a condominium or apartment building. Restrictions on antennas installed in these common areas are not covered by the Commission's rule. For example, the rule would not apply to restrictions that prevent drilling through the exterior wall of a condominium or rental unit and thus restrictions may prohibit installation that requires such drilling.
All you need is somewhere to put the dish - i.e. on the patio mounted on a pole in a bucket of cement - and visibility to the satellites in the southern sky.

Still looking for a way to watch online, what can I say other than I'm cheap. Actually money for cable takes away from whatever miniscule car budget I already have. Either way my endeavors have taken me to a streaming site much like youtube from what I can tell. I was watching some video taken of some cars going down the straight right by the wall and I looked over and noticed my autistic 2 year old was enamored by it (not that I should be surprised, he goes to bed with the DVD case for any of the Fast and Furious movies).
Johnathan watching racing with me.
Best I can find, horrible picture quality though.
Link.

IMSA website will have a live stream later tonight until 7am.
I think I might have to let people know I do not condone the link I posted - I think I may have invited a colony of canoes onto my laptop.
No commentating, but some of you seem to like that sort of thing.
No pop ups or virus warnings here, thanks for the link!

Sadly I can't get flash player for my Xbox, so I can't watch the live feeds at my house.
On that note, what happened to the fanboi cock'n balls Datsun this time? Every race there is a hooplah surrounding it, and every race it fails miserably....
Watching live in-car 01 Eco-Boost DP at the 24 on SpeedTV online now. Also #3 Corvette, #70 Mazda and #48 Audi. http://stream.speedtv.com/rolex24
Great noises outta that twin turbo 3.5 V-6 and Corvette.

Here's a link to a JustinTV.com broadcast. The video quality sucks, but it's better than the nothing I get from Comcast.

"No commentating" doesn't compel me to click on it... so I didn't.
FWIW, just trying to contribute here w/ a useful link.
