Bizarre collection. (For the US.)

What exactly is going on here?

Notice that there's 3 skylines and 2 Pulsar GTiRs as well...

That has to represent at least 10% of the total number of 323 GTX's in the US!

That's the thing, though... many of them are legit Familias. Some of those aren't even legal for US use quite yet. There's some seriously weird stuff in this entire auction.

It's like what would happen if an average GRM forum user suddenly won a billion dollars.

Yeah, it looks like a good 20% of what's here isn't legal for US roads and probably wasn't even legal for import. No wonder the auction company is doing Bill of Sale only.

Doesn't it depend when/how they were imported? Or am i dreaming things? Obviously none of them are on the road....

Wow very strange!!!

Looks pretty straight, should have the motor that has the early oil leaks fixed and the better interior. But the hardtop is the horrendous aftermarket SnugTop, truly a terrible sight to behold.

Not necessarily, there are quite a few cars allowed to be imported only for show & display that have time limits on them or else they get seized and crushed. Ask the legitimate owners of R32's and R34's who actually did only track/trailer them about the Feds seizing and crushing. There was quite a row over a (some?) 959's back in the day as well.

Our import laws are stupid.
