Well I'm getting ready to move and I opened up a box and found a bunch of pictures I took about 10 years ago or so at the Zupan's Historic Races in Portland. I even found this one of me sitting in my old 944 waiting to get on the track. Man I miss that car, had tons of fun in it. That is what I was driving in high school along with my 78 Camaro.

Holy crap, that must have been cartoonishly awesome (not a cartoon you'd want your parents to catch you watching though ) I think I'm still suffering the afteraffects of driving a total POS at that age :(

Really cool pic too, that would make a nice avatar

cool pic! My father insisted that I get a third gen f-body for my first car.......yea f'ing right. I bought a POS 4th gen V6 firebird instead that had a blown head gasket, no a/c, no radio, special edition mold interior, and 10 different shades of black paint from Maaco's for $1500...can't for get cheese grader wheels.

It was kind of funny a couple years later I was at college and this guy walks up to me and says "Hey weren't you the guy that had the Porsche and Camaro at school?", he had been in a grade ahead of me but still new me by my cars. I use to race on the street a lot back then, I'll admit it, granted it was mostly all back roads but still stupid. I had loads of fun in that car not all of it involved driving

It was really funny that everyone was convinced that the Porsche cost an arm and a leg, but I paid $4500 cash. I traded my grandpas old POS olive green El Camino that he gave me for the Camaro. The Camaro was pushing over 400hp and was a blast to drive but not very practical, it only got like 5 mpg. I had started working when I was 13, so I was able to save up the money for the Porsche on my own.

Granted also one of my jobs in high school was working at the local Porsche dealer. As for the avatar I have a another of me coming around the last corner of PIR that I might use, I just need to scan it.
