I think you probably would want Benjamins in that case. That's a rather involved and expensive repair.
And even if they'd put it further in they'd still missed the jacking point. Not to mention that Lotus put a couple of helpful stickers on the jacking points that you can see from underneath the car. Well, if you bother to look, that is.
