Did a search for Lightning Rods shifter. Realized this one looked familiar. Hey, the pic was taken by that guy I am!

Yes, it's a concept car, the Sollei. Kind of a follow up to the Ciel from a few years ago.

So I have to ask, how long does it take to paint something like this? I build race cars, do metal fabrication and whatever else needs to be done to get a car running and on-track, but have never done paint and bodywork. I've had cars painted but most extensive work was through an insurance company, so I was removed from the dollars and cents part of it. There has to be hundreds and hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars in materials to get something like this done. Are we talking tens of thousands or 6-figures? I'm jealous of the talent it takes to bring this artwork alive!

Looks like they took a Lyriq and cut the roof off.
I still think the upcoming Cadillac Celestiq is going to be a disaster. I really don't think there's a market for a $340,000 Cadillac anymore.

I watched a show on TV where the shop owner did a job that wasn't this complex and I got lost in the masking, painting, masking, airbrushing,masking... it was extremely tedious and I imagine expensive. Quite a skillset.

Whatever it is, the POS left this poor lady stranded in the middle of nowhere. Sun's just coming up and the top's already down? Fog gonna burn off into humidity? She's in for for a hot, messy walk, and in heels no less.
Surprised it's not a Dodge, to be honest.
Tandem LS V8s. Driven to record speed in the mile at 211.769 mph and the mile and a half at 213.712 mph in class AA/BGCC (Unlimited displacement / Blown Gas Competition Coupe).
