As for the choo-choo. When I see something similiar I admit I do wonder if their size contributes to their disability and how much excersize and diet thus losing some wieght would help. Or if their size was caused by medical issue. Being that size causes it's own medical issues and fat does sneak up on you.

And sometimes it's a mental issue as well. I mean really, do you think those women became that way through laziness? When you're that bad it's got to be beyond overwhelming. I don't care if get to park closer, or have their scooters paid for, I'm just eternally grateful I'm not them.

Something seems to be wrong with this picture. If you are obese, you should NOT be able to have a handicaped sticker that allows you to park up front. you should be made to park waaaaaaay out in the parking lot to walk your fat a$$ up there and work off some of that weight. Just sayin...
A couple years ago, Mom had double knee replacement. She got a temporary handicapped tag, as she wasn't very mobile during the recovery period. I met Mom and Pop at the mall to take them shopping. Pop parked in one of the reserved spaces and as Mom was extracting herself from the car, another car pulled into the spot next to them. A healthy looking 20-something guy got out of the driver's side and a healthy 50-something woman got out of the passenger side. They headed into the mall, looking unchallenged. Pop, who is notorious for speaking loudly without a filter on his thoughts, said, "Wonder what their handicap is?" Young guy spun around and snapped, "My mom has anorexia! She has low stamina!" and hurried into the mall. It's my understanding that in the state of WI, 350lbs is the eligibility weight for Handicapped tags. Apparently, even people who think they're fat can get handicapped tags.

350 lbs. IS anorexia in Wisconsin!

OK, now I want a scooter, but do I have to gain 200 more pounds before I can get one?

Just wear one of those foam-rubber Sumo suits, even in just the Sumo Diaper you wouldn't stand out in a Wal-mart...

Aparently, I'm overweight and on the borderline to be obese.

One time In college.. The government says I should be 140-189lbs. I was 183 once in college... I was 11% body fat and worked out for 2-3 hours a day.. I packed on more muscle and went to 195.. still 11% body fat, but could deadlift 400lbs..

Bmi is stupid.

I wear a 44 long jacket and need to have it tailored in because my waist don't match me shoulders... Stupid obesity.

We'res the bacon.

The diabetes remark wasn't about diabetics. It was about the people who eat themselves into obesity and diabetes is another result. I know some people can't help the medical problems, but these morbidly obese people weren't born with it. Maybe they were. Hell I dunno. I'm gonna look like an a$$ either way. LOL

Eh, it's all a matter of perception.

I look at those people from the son/brother/father of diabetics and ask myself if diabetes caused that (especially when I see an overweight amputee on a scooter here in town)...or were they too lazy and didn't take care of themselves and brought on diabetes.

Admittedly, I have diabetes my mind 24/7.

Apparently, for us, diabetes wasn't considered enough of a handicap for a parking sticker. No biggie.

My baby-sister has gotten so fat that she is going to have gastric bypass, we all feel sorry for anyone that takes a scalpel to her as it may look like the scene from "Jaws" where everything & a license plate spill out of the shark....

Me, I got a German short-hair pointer that loves long walks !

As for the train, in the first vid they are in the road, ignoring the sidewalk just a few feet away. They deserved some sort of harassment / jaywalking ticket for that. At least in the second they were on the sidewalk. Crippler, now we know what the GRM retirement home is gonna look like!
