I have used, successfully, that Spectracide wasp killer on black widdows. I have them in my barn and they are friggin HUGE!! The bodies are 1/2" in diameter not including the head or legs. Big fat sombiscuits. Anyway, spray them in the face and walk away. Dead in minutes.
Make them read some of the recent threads about nekkid peoples?
Good lord, I shouldn't stick my head into threads that are more than a few pages long.... rarely is it a good thing (Minor rants, GGA and Hotlinks are about it, IMO).
Anyway, the carbon dioxide is a good idea. I'll have to remember that when I have to dive into an old shed/garage/car/etc. that I know has become a haven for bugs and spiders.
"...Nuke the entire site...it's the only way to be sure..."
Shop vac. If you want to spray bug killer in the vac, please do not do it while it is running or before you turn it on, the fumes are flammable and the motor running could cause a spark which could lead to an explosion.

So it would be similar to a nuking?
Yes, but without the pretty green glow.
Shotgun.
can't believe it hadn't been said already
Bomb away.
Then go to TSC and get a barn sprayer, and a few cans of pyrethrum. Put it up on a wall, and enjoy how it constantly kills bugs, of virtually all types.
Young (cute) female engineer in my group is absolutely terrified of bugs.
As soon as she squeals, college kids come from blocks around with their cans of compressed air; you know, air in a can to blow the cracker crumbs out of your keyboard.
Turn it upside down and it shoots a frozen stream!
DEAD SPIDER !!! Appreciative squealer!
Hey, here's a tip: DO NOT jokingly shoot it at your wife's upper fleshy area, it leaves a bright red sun burn like area the size of a penny.
If I saw a spider dragging a dead mouse I would

As always pictures are encouraged, for educational purposes.

^^ using compressed air cans to give your missus frostbite means you will sleep in the doghouse
Yeah but it's a nice dog house.

Natty Light. Spiders hate the stuff.
After I've ingested it and 'make it rain.'

ROFL......to be fair, it was a small mouse.....If it ever becomes bad enough to see this Deadmou5
being dragged by a spider, I'll have to call in the starship troopers.

You pee on spiders? Wolf spiders are fast, man, I wouldn't let one see my hootus. Not to mention, how do you handle ones above you? ICK!
Wolf spider eyes reflect light. If I shine a flashlight in my grass at night it looks like a shot of the universe from the Hubble.
Some of them around here get pretty darn big. I love the little guys and gals, though. They do a very comprehensive job of eating the hell out of the rest of the bugs in my yard.

In reply to Brett_Murphy:
They bring havoc upon the yard, I like them. It is a rare sight to see them getting overly big here, but that might just be because the bigger ones are harder to find.

318ti successfully spider cleansed.......it makes it easier when you can remove the seats and dash in 5min and spray down the entire inside then power wash the inside afterwards......lol
Money shot.......
I will probably start a build thread here in the next few weeks for the engine switch and eventually the turbo adding......this will eventually make a challenge though.
