Based on this recent thread (https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/the-least-grassroots-question-ever-what-washer-dryer/168238/page1/), we recently bought a new Maytag commercial washer and dryer. We love them so far! The only issue is that they sit in our utility/laundry/home office room, which means I'm in the same room, working all day, mainly sitting on conference calls. The buzzer on the new dryer is LOUD, like stunningly loud. I'd like to disable the buzzer, as I can certainly tell when it stops running.

Has anyone ever taken a brand new dryer apart, at least in order to get to the buzzer?

You may be able to disable the buzzer without disassembly. Check your manual or online for instructions for silent mode. My dryer is not a Maytag, but to turn off the buzzer I just held the audio button for three seconds to disable it.

Yes.  Just unplug the connector from the back of the buzzer.

Ok, how about converting the buzzer to say a strobe light or something that would interfere with WiFi to get the laundry person to actually notice it?
