An obscure question, but I'm hoping to hear some real life experience with them. We're looking to replace our old coil stove with a GE dual fuel range, or a GE straight gas range with the dual ovens. I can't seem to find to many real life opinions on them. Thoughts?
We are dumping our gas range stove thing and getting a gas cooktop and a dual electric ovens.
Go shopping for the dual ovens - you'll comment to the appliance dude you paid less for cars in the past.
Just put in brand new dual range oven inside house on wall.
the "old dual oven" went outside

If I could, this would 100% be my plan no questions asked. But its just a Wee bit too much for us at the moment, so have to settle for the next best thing!

Perfect! I guess i'm just curious if they're as useful as i think they'd be. It sounds like you use your oven quite a bit if you have 4 of them. I'm a little concerned the bottom oven being so close to the ground, it would be difficult to access it with heavy items.
With your LG, the two ovens run totally separate right? I know the samsung line has a removable divider which means the two ovens have to run within a certain temp of each other.
My wife and I cook/bake quite a bit, so we think they'd be really useful. Just not sure if they're more of a novelty or if they would actually be useful.
Oh, you mean this thing we bought 2 years ago for $950 and will be giving somebody a deal this spring?
Works great - sometimes the electronics get wonky when boiling water even with the fan on. We think the moisture messes up the electronics behind it.
We can open the top half or the full door.
Live near Chicago and can wait? LOL.

We have the LG dual oven, glass top. We use to crap out of the small top oven for general daily stuff. Heating up a pizza, baking cookies, broiling etc. you realize you don't need a ton of height most of the time. The lower oven is a convection oven if you want it to be or even a proofing oven if you want to bake bread. 10/10 would buy again even if I had the room for two ovens.

You saw my exterior picture above
It's not too close to ground. We use all the time.
Yes all are individual. Very very handy . Not a novelty
here is my indoor one .
You can see exterior and inteiror in this pic
I'm a big fan of our dual oven range. Small upper oven heats up quickly and does most of the work. Lower larger oven fits my big Dutch oven easily and you can run two different temps. Thumbs up from me.

Oh, that black cooktop is a nightmare to keep spotless - I suggested I bring in some of my automotive spray wax and clean it up but the wife freaks out with the idea.
For last 23 years on our blacktops we put foil paper and keep it cut around the stove fire
as much as we cook - everytime we clean just throw away foil paper
black underneath is perfect snd clean
We have a double whirlpool electric with flat top. My wife loves it and uses both ovens at the same time multiple times a week. The only weirdness is the back is flat all the way to the floor without the recess the big electric outlet and plug usually sit in. I need to recess all of that into the wall so for right now the whole shebang sits out about 3" farther fro the wall than it should. It isn't that noticeable so I keep forgetting to fix it.

Appreciate the input guys. Really leaning towards the double oven at this point.
My mother has a 42" range with a standard electric oven and then a smaller "side oven". She doesn't use it very often but it comes in handy during holidays when cooking multiple dishes and need to keep something warm before serving.
