Dumbest Purchase for Car Ever

You should make fun of me mercilessly for this:

It’s an engine cover for my Kia Sedona Minivan that creates an illusion of Intake runners. Worst of all, it was scratched up, so I repainted the silver. I hang my head in shame. 

Not even closest to dumbest purchase ever.

Aside from appearance, these covers are good for noise suppression too. 

I thought this was going to be about an extended warrantee.

Can't be that much dumber than the blue glow-in-the-dark shift knob I bought recently.

Nope. Not dumb. Im always amazed at how much they cut moise and dirt in the engine bay.

Repainting it was a good touch!

The best part about the fake runners is the cover looks like a longitudinal setup, but the engine is actually transverse mounted. 

I want to know why mine didn’t come with the fancy paint. Our 2010 is just black plastic

Truck nuts or lug nut “locks” to keep hoodlums from stealing those cherry factory rims. 

My wifes base model rogue with hubcaps has locking lug nuts

I like the Miata teeth!   They went with the googley eyes I had on it for a bit.
