So I bought another Amazon on EBay yesterday. I didn't need it but it seemed to be too good of a deal to pass up. Auction ended around 6:30 PM and I have gotten the auto-email's from EBay including the standard pay now. I don't want to send this guy a load of cash until I actually know he is real, the car is real, an address where the car is located (it is local) and the sellers contact phone number. This just seems prudent.

I emailed the seller immediately after the auction closed and again today with no response.

The car went for less than half of his "Buy it Now" price and he mentioned that he had more than one of these (with an offer to throw in a parts car if the Buy it now price was met). I am concerned that he may be getting cold feet although he does have a 100% history with 200+ transactions.

The add states that full payment is due within 7 days of auction close so I have some time.

Thoughts?

You were correct Zomby. Seller just called and has just been crazy busy. Hopefully we can hook up to get the car this Sunday. He did drag it out from the weeds, charge the battery and got it running/driving. Not sure if I want to drive it home or collect with the trailer as the tires are dry rotted.

Not sure if the ad link will work but here it is in all it's green glory. 1966 Amazon

and, it's got AC. WOOT
