Haha! That's hillarious. I know you can't predict the future, so I don't fault the cute weather girl or the old fogey for not getting it right but I mean, they make everything out to by way more than it is and how can they call for 12" and actually get 1". I can do a better job by checking weather.gov.
DrBoost, I want to formally file a complaint to the bureau of premature snow blower operation for your act of heresy. The only thing that keeps us Mainer's sane during winter is snow. Take your auger and shove it!

Referring to "this winter" during this late-2011/early-2012 period is sort of inaccurate, because, save a few days, it hasn't actually BEEN winter yet. I'm convinced Fall is holding on, and then we'll slide right into Spring, which will be great, because I love being eaten alive by bugs who didn't die off because it's been 50* every day for the past 4 months
