With the promotion I now have to carry my personal phone, a two way radio, company phone, and iPad. There aren't pockets big enough to walk around with all this crap.

My stand alone garage (two car) is full of stuff just dumped in it from the move and has only gravel floor. My machine shed (4 stalls and a corn crib) is muddy in front of the doors and is only dirt floors. And the grainery has enough old fire wood in the 'basement' that it's unusable down there, there are holes in the floors above it and one of the foundation walls are leaning out. I've been in it and jumped up and down but...
I don't have dedicated workout space so I exercise in the garage, which requires backing out my wife's car to open up space, which requires shuffling around the other cars parked in our driveway to make room.

I workout every morning. I do this to shed the excess weight Ive accumulated over time. But, Im so hungry from burning calories, that I decide to treat myself to excessively sweet treats between the 3 square meals i eat every day. But, all those extra, unnecessary, meaningless calories that I am able to eat, at a whim, cause me to gain weight, so I feel the need to work out more.
The struggle is real.

Cut out sugar and processed foods. Even juice is processed. Just eat the fruit. Soda even diet is terrible for you. I've lost 30 lbs in the last 18 months or so. Also helps that my 2.5 year old son is ready to leave the table quickly and the fussy 4 month old demanding to be held to cut down on the amount of time I can eat a meal. Smaller plates have a psychological effect of putting less on them, which we accidentally started doing too.
In the morning, sometimes I can't decide whether to take an apple or a banana as a snack. Sometimes I regret my choice.
Am I wrong to think that there is a great FWP joke somwhere in the Matrix of "gas guzzling SUVs", "Most people dont carpool" and "OMFG Gasoline went up 20 cents"?

This. Cutting sugar and processed food has been great for us. Even though we tend to cook with a lot of natural fats, especially butter (we ARE southern after all), we have actually gotten healthier/thinner since we stopped buying soda and other sugary junk. Calories in does not equal calories out, to some extent. The types of calories really do matter and your body handles them differently.
Next time your shopping, take a look a look at the ingredients. If has "sugar", "high fructose corn syrup", "glucose" etc in the ingredients, then those are ADDED sugars. Then check the sugar content in grams. There are 4 grams in a teaspoon. It is recommended to have less than 9 teaspoons of added sugar per day. That's only 36 grams. A 12 oz Coke has 38 grams. If its something like natural jam which has fruit and water as the only listed ingredient, then those sugars are not ADDED and don't count towards that 36 grams. Even stuff like pasta sauce is getting tons of added sugar these days. It's hard to avoid.
It's bullE36 M3 that sugar doesn't have a % per day like everything else. Very misleading. Added sugar is the biggest reason obesity and diabetes are such huge problems nowadays.
There is a game stopping WiFi vulnerability in Android devices with Broadcom chipsets. I'd like to replace my aging Windows tablet with an Android tablet, but nobody making small Android tablets appears to be reliably shipping patches.
Why is it when I go to a friend's place for a night cap their bathroom looks like the black hole of Calcutta? First world meets third world.
My wife bought another car this weekend for less than her fancy birthday dinner ($200). Now I have to replace some rusty power steering lines on an otherwise nice ’96 Roadmaster wagon.
Related FWP, I can’t see building it up for the Challenge since it would essentially be a copy of a previous entry.
The dealer lowers his price. I email back 2x over the course of 2 days stating I will pay the new reduced price. No one gets back to me. Called and left a message for the sales person and the head of the sales department saying take my $$$
Still no callback. How hard can it be to get a dealer to sell you a car? I mean I am not haggling about the $$$. Take my $$$$$ Give me the car.

I need to have your wife talk to my wife. All my wife keeps harping about is a G500 AMG. Ohya and she already has an H2.

That is nasty.
Midnight shift. Too tired to finish the crossword puzzles and Word Jumble. Probably have to take a nap instead.
My left hand and wrist are tired because yesterday after dinner I went paddleboarding and when I was finished, I carried the board from the other side to not get any water on my clothes. Carrying it awkwardly from the bulkhead wall to the garage made my hand tired.
We have a free trip to Florida next week. And easter activities this weekend. And a challenge car that is really close to running. I cant be in 2 places at once.
You'll need to log in to post.
