Looking for double stack high capacity magazines for Glocks in 45 ACP and 9mm. Best I can find is OEM for $18/ea for 13 round 45 ACP and 17 round 9mm from CDNN. They don't have to be OEM, but need to be just as reliable. Anybody found a better deal?

(quibble) - those are Standard capacity mags. As opposed to those neutered to 10 rounds based on state government rules.

That said, I don't have any aftermarket ones - OE plastic seems to be cheap enough & good enough.

Magpul is now making Glock mags too. So far only in 9mm. They run about $15

In reply to GSmith:

I get where you are coming from, but Glock makes 10 and 17 round mags for the Model 17, 10 and 12 round mags for the Model 26, 10 and 15 round mags for the Model 19, 10 and 13 round mags for the Model 21, etc. Also, mags for models of the same caliber are interchangeable and I have no idea what aftermarket mag capacities are. So it's easier to say I'm looking for high capacity mags rather than trying to be extremely specific.

Midway has the 33 Rd 9mm mags for 36 dollars.

My understanding of Glocks is that you can go large frame mags to small frame mags of the same caliber.

I never tried it the 19 I carried was always issued to me. So mods were frowned upon.

Beta has been the large cap standard bearer for a while. They're spendy though.

I don't get the point of those 33-round magazines. They make the gun so unwieldy you almost lose the point of carrying a handgun. If you're in a gunfight requiring that many rounds, you should probably have a long gun anyhow. I'd rather just carry a spare 17-rounder.

They were originally made for the Glock 18...
