That was actually fascinating. I grew up in a tire shop, the shot of seating the bead from inside was damn cool. But the shot of pulling the valve stem core was even better, what a physics experiment!

Yes, nice video! And watching the drop in pressure inside the tire was fascinating! I wonder if the fog swirled around the valve stem hole.
That's way more deflection than I was expecting for a low-profile tire at that sort of pressure...and I wasn't even thinking about the lateral deflection. It would be interesting to test again with zero toe, zero camber and both zero toe and camber to see how the lateral deflection changes.
Several years ago, sme of the team engineers in the NASCAR Truck series decided not to show the camera angle of the LF tire to the driver after seeing the amount of deflection and standing waves in the sidewall at a short track.
