My mind went here.
My Escort looks better than the best looking Aztec.

I've also seen a couple with s small lift and knobby tires that looked pretty rockin - and they seem like a good transport vehicle for mountain biking too. Were any of them actually AWD?
When Nissan can market a convertable crossover/suv... the Aztek no longer looks all that bad

Fixed it for you.
It is ugly. The painted body cladding helped, much like putting a bad on Sandra Burnhard makes her look better.

QFT... this is carli's daily.
i love the thing. the 60*v6 is a time tested platform and there is a crapload of room inside. the all black rendezvouseses with chrome rims are sexytime. i want a mildly lifted awd one with real tires.
This one's a little showy, but the potential is there. I wonder what kind of mileage they get in AWD?

Directing your eyes in the general direction of your Esprit will fix that.
You may notice (aside from the obvious drop and huge rims) that what makes the "good" looking Aztec such is the radiused wheel arches. The square openings on the stock vehicle are downright awkward.

Agreed. Delete the side exhaust port and the strake coming back from the front arch and it would tone it down enough to make it awesome.
so.....how does the front door open on that aztek? There has to be some body line that I am not seeing, the flares look molded to the body cladding.

Prolly Lambos.
Figures, you guys talk Azteks, I see one last night after not seeing any in a long while. Nope. Still ugly.
poopshovel wrote: I like Aztecs. That E36 M3 was way ahead of its time. Look at the prius ferchrissake. I would rock the one dude drives on breaking bad. It's a drop and some limo tint away from looking wicked. YMMV.
That's kinda how I feel about these guys: Isuzu VehiCROSS
Isuzu Axiom
Not very popular when they debuted due to the styling and somewhat desirable today due to their uniqueness... I'd rock a VehiCROSS in a heartbeat...

europa hands down. I like europas though.=]
LOVE the vehicross too. I dunno. I have a penchant for weird, especially when it's a result of function.
I love the look of 1st gen CRX's over 2nd gens.
I like the mild off-road look...solid color, no plastic looking cladding, some low key mods...I like it!
I've always liked the Aztec though...loved it in Yellow and Grey ;)

Who built this one??? Was it a custom shop or a GM factory showcar???
Either way, I've seen it before and it looks fantastic.
