Two things I noticed are it has air brakes which IIRC means you need a CDL & it looks like a there's a bulkhead between the front & rear so you have to get out of the cab and walk around to the rear to get into the cargo area. Not that I need a fire truck...

that thing is sweet. and it says no batteries are included so I bet it doesn't go for much more than current price. If I had a large rural property, I'd absolutely get me something like that.

Cool cart.  That one is a 2015 but looks like they still sell them new... https://www.e-ride.com/  I saw an story about a fleet of them at a dam which  at the end of article states a price of $32k EACH! in 2015 when the article was written.  I'll bet it sells for more than $500.  Super cool looking.  Seems to be aluminum.   Picture #6 in the listing says $16,665.  I wonder if that is the reserve.

In reply to John Welsh :

I'm guessing that was the cost of it when new. Many of these Gov auctions have a tag like this. The original prices on some of this stuff is crazy.

A very similar one (w/o batteries as well) sold in December for $5900. Looking through the sold listings on this site shows that there are rarely any screaming deals. I really wonder who is dropping this much coin on these things? Is it all getting shipped offshore like much of the heavy equipment that is sold at auction?

I thought I half recognized that ship as it sits now it’s tied up relatively close to where I live. It was previously known as The Queen of Tsawwassen and I may well of been a passenger in its old life.

Yes that certainly looks like an old British Columbia Ferry system Ferry. It would definitely actually be older than 1970. I live in Campbell River, spend quite a bit of time on the water and have never seen it. The BC ferry system has quite a few ferries at least that old still in service ( as does Washington state)

Not too often I get to say howdy neighbour (I’m in Qualicum Beach) that ship was being used as a logging camp in Toba Inlet. It’s probably tow required ran when parked.
