Grassroots beer sports

We were on a date and my wife got a beer she loved. We can’t remember what it was called. I had thought that it was a quad and that the bottle looked like this, with some foreign brand name, but it was super dark. This one is like orange. I liked it but it wasn’t what I was trying to get for her.

Probably Gulden Draak.

The Gulden Draak 9000 you linked to is a different beer that is lighter in color (and not as tasty).

If it's not that, I'm going to need more hints to help guide you to what it was.

I mean... there are any number of good quads or strong darks out there. I suspect this is the one you're most likely looking for.

Other possibilities in that style would be: St. Bernardus Abt.12, Chimay Blue, Delirium Nocturnum, Rochefort 10.

Gulden Draak has a pretty distinctive bottle though.

She liked the stout I got her , but all of the quads left her saying that they were too light. Thoughts?

No, it was off a rather extensive beer menu from like a year ago.
